Pitch + Fork Cafe

The Pitch + Fork cafe is a stunning example of local interior design.

The Pitch + Fork Cafe designed by local Australian interior designer Georgia Cannon and her design team is located into the corner of the famous Wests Rugby Club in Brisbane. The stunning locally designed interior allows patrons to enjoy delicious food in beautiful surroundings. For this interior design project Georgia Cannon worked together with cafe head chef, Dylan Brace, to design a functional kitchen layout within the smallest possible footprint. This efficiency allowed the interior design team to incorporate a small internal seating area to supplement the extensive outdoor dining space.

Wherever possible the raw concrete plus the brick of the beautiful Richards plus Richards and Spence designed base building were exposed with a simple palette of white, green, grey and black overlaid to define functional zones. The client was ecstatic with the final interior design and particularly pleased when their vision aligned so perfectly with Georgia Cannon’s. In 2017 the Pitch + Fork Cafe interior design project received a high commendation for best cafe design at the Eat Drink Design Awards.
