Melding Victorian era heritage and contemporary living, Prahran Terrace, uses an exaggerated vertical height to the ground floor which allows the space to take on a gallery like feeling. This, coupled with the abundant access to northern light, makes the living area feel much more expansive than what would normally be achieved with a traditional extension to a single fronted Victorian terrace. Stone, wood and black metal accents accentuate the gallery-like mood of the space upstairs a significant master with oversized walk-in robe plays with scale again, this time in horizontal form. Externally large scale black louvres flanked by white brick walls to the first floor help to balance the height on the facade and the oversized ground floor proportions.
