For this project Rothelowman were tasked with the redesign of one of Melbourne’s busiest hotel complexes. Pullman Melbourne on the Park’s refurbishment will provide the hotel with a new identity, bringing it in line with the Pullman Hotels & Resorts global cosmopolitan brand.
An opportunity to activate the ground plan has been achieved by creating a transparency that connects the external streetscape with the internal lobby, along with a radically redesigned, more intimate series of interconnected spaces within.
Rothelowman have been able to create a new identity for the hotel by reinvigorating communal spaces for guests. The reception, bar lounge and restaurant areas respond to the beautiful colours and textures of the nearby Fitzroy Gardens with a variance of light and dark treatments throughout.
The impressive renovations to the bar lounge and restaurant areas will make the venues an appealing destination for hotel guests as well as local residents. The new design will meet the needs of individual travellers and also serve as an impromptu meeting space for locals.
