We Architects designed Redfern Semi to feel light and transparent, adding a layer to the existing fabric of the house. Reflecting a high standard of craft akin to the exposed brick wall, archway, hardwood floors and shiplap ceilings, the steel component of the stairs were painted to match the brick and a perspex skylight opens up the space.
