Set in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Caulfield, this Muntz St property affectionately labelled ‘R + M’ after the initials of it’s owners, is a creatively designed architectural masterpiece by Amnon Weber. A spacious family home for 7 with a clean, modern aesthetic, soft tones and curved features.

When Homeroom Studio was engaged to design the interior of R + M’s home, Creative Director and Interior Designer Romy Dankner was immediately drawn to her client’s energy and love of colour. Filled with stunning hand-crafted pieces, locally sourced homewares, imported beauties and curated sculptures and artworks, each piece in the home tells a story and sets a tone of warmth, character and family.

R + M’s home was a 2 year labour of love, consisting of meticulous planning, sourcing and design. The finished product is well worth it though – a home that when you walk into it, you immediately sense the positive energy, uniqueness and craftsmanship that comes with furnishing a home slowly and purposefully.

“Everything was carefully selected over 2 years and each item is a reflection of a moment in time. If at the time of seeing it, it evoked a feeling of warmth, excitement and love, then we chose it for the house. When something makes you feel a certain way, you remember that feeling and it becomes attached to the objects that made you feel that way. Says Romy. “You’ll never fall out of love with something when you have all of these positive memories and feelings attached to it.”
