Victor Vasilev was born in 1974 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. At 15, he moved with his family to Israel. He studied architecture at the Politecnico in Milan and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. After completing his studies, he decided to stay in Milan and founded his own design studio in 2004. Vasilev has collaborated with renowned companies like Boffi, Living Divani, MDF Italia, and Antrax, earning several international awards for his work. His design approach is driven by a constant pursuit of simplicity, focusing on both form and material purity. For Boffi, Vasilev designed the CTline columns, a modular system of vertical, wall-mounted storage units inspired by urban architecture. These units are versatile and can be used in various living spaces, including bathrooms. He also created the A45 family of washbasins (both countertop and wall-hung) and the DueC mobile washbasin, which cleverly combines a washing function with open storage.
