Dots Outdoor

Brand Vibia
Designer Martín Azúa

Diminutive, compact, and easily integrated into any garden, Dots Outdoor offers an ideal solution for a variety of exterior low-lighting needs. Each luminaire features a rounded opening that reflects light from an internal source, creating a soft halo of ambient light, like a radiant crown. The second version has a closed side, allowing the designer to control the direction and intensity of the light.

By day, it’s easily mistaken for a stone, blending seamlessly into the undergrowth of a garden or among potted plants on a patio. At night, Dots Outdoor emits a low, diffused, or focused glow, with the light source remaining almost entirely invisible from any angle.

About The Designer

Martín Azúa is a Basque designer based in Barcelona since 1994. A graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, he combines his work as an object and space designer for major companies with a more speculative, experimental approach to design. Azúa is part of a group of designers who view experimental methods as integral to the design process. Since 2007, his ‘Basic House’ project has been part of the permanent collection at MoMA in New York. His work is also included in the collection of the Barcelona Design Museum, as well as in various public and private collections.
