Description
Frequency is a linear LED lamp made of blown glass designed by Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba.Born from a desire to enhance the essence of light, designer Marcantonio wanted to capture the shape of a beam of energy travelling through space as a sculptural object. The result was Frequency, realised thanks to the skilful control of glass by Cangini e Tucci. Frequency exists in two versions, both hanging. The first can be installed horizontally, over a dining table, above a reception deks or office. The second is installed vertically, functioning like a floor lamp. Frequency, like all Cangini and Tucci lamps, is entirely handmade in Italy. Available in various glass and metal finish combinations. Frequency horizontal is available in a standard version or with an adjustable wiring point.

Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba was born in 1976 in Mass Lombarda, Italy. He attended the Art Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts. Just graduated he begins to work in the theatre scene and collaborating with some architects. Soon he begins to create unique pieces of design in parallel with a production of art, but step by step the two careers beginning to become contaminated. So its design is enriched with artist concepts. For over 10 years he worked for private or local public realises. Connections between Man and Nature are his favourite theme; interpreting both dynamics and beauties of nature; showing the Man’s attitude affecting the original. He loves thinking about his work as a direct continuation of what he used to do when he was a child, playing with everything he finds, and create what his mind imagined.
