Irrespective of whether Hommage is one, two or even three-tiered: the new sideboard from Studio Oï takes on the appearance of an elaborate architectural model. This representative Oï object consists of different units.

As a whole they create a subtle rhythm of shapes with different looks and practical intermediate bays. Each unit is a self-contained, slightly trapezoidal roll-front cabinet that is fitted with glass shelves. Hommage is an entirely fresh re-interpretation of the roll-front cabinet and, at the same time, a striking shelf.

Dimensions: 180 × 45 × 66 cm

Variants: Hommage is one, two, or three-tiered. The rollfronts consist of individually finished, profiled slats of solid natural oak. Base frame in solid natural oak. Vertical surfaces veneered in oak or lacquered in white (LC 43.2) or anthracite/ brown (LC 43.1 6). Trapezoidal cabinets with optional glass shelves.

About The Designer

Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond of Atelier Oï in La Neuville on Lake Biel have been pushing back the boundaries for over 20 years. Their thinking and products are interdisciplinary, so they create furniture that is influenced by architecture and also by shipbuilding. Their focus is always on an emotional response to materials. Their projects and furniture have won many international awards. For example, the iF Design Gold Award for the Allumette table.
