Japanese Mt Fuji Candle

In the countryside of Gifu, there’s a small family-run workshop, the owner is a master potter by the name of Ryoji Hayashi. Now in his mid 80’s, Hayashi still hand makes and paints every single piece. This special Mt. Fuji candle vessel was handcrafted in Gifu by Ryoji Hayashi and comes in a handcrafted wooden box, personally stamped with a certificate of clay. We then fill each one in our Surry Hills studio with pure soy wax. These cups took over six months to craft, a rare and limited collaboration we are super proud of.
