Lightweight in form and environmental footprint, Kata is designed with circular sustainability at its core. Designed by Altherr Desile Park for Arper, Kata takes inspiration from artisan-made timber and woven straw chairs yet is reimagined for a contemporary lifestyle in an expression that’s both graphic and warm.
An oak and black locust FSC certified timber frame supports a tailor-made 3D knit textile with either a graphic or striped pattern available in three colours. The solid oak frame is available in natural or black stained finish. The solid black locust timber frame is stained to a Teak stained finish and with the striped knit textile is suitable for outdoor use.
Loose cushions upholstered from a range of house fabrics and leathers add to the character and comfort of Kata.
