The Macchiato was created as a natural progression of the Flat White series. We engaged Australian Designer Adam Goodrum to create his rendition of the wall light. Adhering to his signature style and the geometry of the base, Goodrum crafted this piece.

What distinguishes this fixture is the exquisite steps achieved through a stacking steel mould. The glass is blown into a 3-piece mould by our skilled glass team. Each fitting possesses its own unique character and evokes a nostalgic essence akin to a Fresnel lens.

The fitting was named Macchiato, inspired by the layered nature of the coffee beverage, paralleling the structure of our wall light.

The MACCHIATO wall light is IP55-rated and currently available in Clear, Olive and Whiskey tints.

About The Designer

Sydney-Based Industrial Designer, Alex Fitzpatrick connects complex systems with consummate artistry at ADesignStudio, where he leads as Creative Director.

Alex pursues the aligning of scientific and poetic elements: a synergy from which his practice emerges. Built on a foundation of storytelling and establishing a strong visual language from the outset, Alex’s approach traverses the meaning behind an object; where it came from and how it came to be.
