Introducing PaperBird, a contemporary Australian made dining chair that pays homage to traditional craftsmanship. Featuring a cantilevered solid wood frame with steam bent backrest and seat in hand woven paper cord.
Designed by Frag Woodall, PaperBird is available in solid Oak, Walnut, or Oak with textured matte black stain to highlight the natural timber grain pattern. Hand woven seat in natural or black paper cord.
Led by Industrial Designer Frag Woodall, Mr.Fräg design studio produces Australian-made contemporary furniture, lighting and objects.
Based in Sydney, Frag Woodall draws inspiration from design archetypes, Architecture and traditional craftsmanship techniques, using them as a point of departure to investigate traditional typologies and innovate in the pursuit of a wholly new and distinct design language.
