Seam Stacking Chair

Brand Tait
Designer Adam Cornish

Through a series of cuts, folds and joins, the Seam Stacking Chair designed by Adam Cornish is conceived with a design process not dissimilar to the tailoring of a piece of fabric into a form-fitting garment. The shell of the chair is formed and folded from a single piece of aluminium whose ends meet to create a ‘seam’ along the spine of the chair, giving the piece its eponymous signature detail.
