Designed by Mario Botta for Artemide in the 1980’s, Shogun is now classed as a design icon – forming part of the Metropolitan Museum in New York’s collection. The structure of perforated steel creates beautiful plays of light and shadows that position themselves at will by moving the reflectors.
Botta is also an architectural researcher whose work is internationally recognized with such important awards as International Architecture Award, Merit Award for Excellence in Design, and IAA Annual Prix 2005.Artemide was established in 1960. Today, it is one of the best providers of modern lighting and practical illumination systems. The company operates under the philosophy of ‘Human Light’.
Stylecraft has been providing furniture of original, contemporary design for 65 years.
