The Silo Sconce’s smooth undulating form is a contemporary design born from collaboration with Rainestone Ceramics, a local ceramics studio on the Gold Coast, QLD. As a complimentary variation the design is explored in a smaller timber body alongside the larger Silo Ceramic Wall Sconce. The ripped form and glass sphere casts a soft diffused glow, providing a gentle and glare free light source perfect for residential and commercial interiors.

About The Designer

Shari graduated with Honors as an Industrial Designer from Griffith University and received the Award of Academic Excellence in 2014. Her design career has spanned over 10 years, working closely with designers across the creative industry and also lecturing Design at Griffith University for 3 years. After spending some time overseas and being inspired by some incredible designers, Fluxwood was born. Shari’s finely honed background in timber and an eye for beautiful design, created Fluxwood Lighting to fill the gap in the market for bespoke handcrafted lighting while celebrating the use of fine solid timber in the Australian market.
