The form of the shade, base and vertical stand of the Switch Floor Lamp is based on the idea of balance and symmetry. The simple geometric shapes of the shade and base directly relate to each other while the ‘kink’ in the vertical stand allows the light shade to sit centred and balanced in relation to the base.
The Switch Floor Lamp is constructed from powder-coated spun aluminium or brushed brass with a domed American Ash fitting at the back of the shade. This feature softens the angular aesthetic of the piece.
