Steel frame and support frame brackets made of gravity cast aluminum, matt black powder-coated. Adjustable thermoplastic feet.
Wooden Top: veneered in smoked oak with solid smoked oak edge, finished with transparent coating.
Top and Spinning Tray in marble: Calacatta Oro marble, Valentine Grey, Grey Stone, Emperador Dark and Grey Carnico Marble, with edge finished by helical moulding.

Born in Milan to a creative family—his father was a sculptor, and his two older brothers were architects—Castiglioni initially studied classical subjects before turning to the arts. He went on to study architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. After graduating, he joined his brothers, Livio and Pier Giacomo, in their design studio, where they created a variety of iconic products that helped shape modern Italian design from the 1950s onwards.
