Tian Round Dining Table

Designer Wei Wu

The Ming Walnut Tian Round Dining Table reimagines the cherished tradition of gathering around a circular table, a symbol of unity and togetherness in Chinese culture. Inspired by Ming-dynasty design, its elegant proportions and thoughtful details create a harmonious blend of heritage and modernity.
Crafted entirely using traditional Chinese joinery, this round table features a 3.5cm thick walnut tabletop with hand-shaped, bevelled edges that evoke the graceful curve of a lotus leaf. Beneath the surface lies an ingenious dovetail-and-tenon mechanism, complete with a central stretcher and locking pins, ensuring remarkable stability while allowing the table to be effortlessly disassembled for easy transport or storage.
