Description About The Designer

Blending the organic and natural beauty of timber with soft comfort upholstery, Tuck seeks the balance between soft and hard, casual and refined.

Designed by James Walsh, the Tuck armchair features high resilience foam combined with feather fill to the backrest and armrest providing an inviting, comfortable seat. A strap detail to the side ‘tucks’ the armrest into place within the frame. The solid timber frame draws upon the simplicity of angles for structural integrity whilst invoking an architectural approach to construction.

Upholstery in fabric or leather is available with the solid timber frame optioned from European White Ash, Vic Ash, European Oak or Walnut. Alternatively, a selection of coloured house stains are available to allowing a playful nature to the collection.

The Tuck collection also comprises a lounge in two sizes and coffee table.

About The Designer

Separating STUA from other contemporary design is the enduring nature of form and timeless approach to design. Designers Jesus Gasca, Jon Gasca and Josep Mora have created a high level of aesthetic and engineering detail within their work. The name STUA stems from solo tengo un amor, “I have only one love.” With this, STUA are grounded firmly in the principles of classic modern design, simplicity and timelessness.
