Amara Mosman by DKO is a refined addition to Sydney’s Lower North Shore, bringing together architecture, lifestyle and a sense of place in a cohesive residential offering.

Designed in collaboration with Dare Property Group, the seven-storey development comprises a limited collection of 26 residences, complemented by a 1,600-square-metre wellness and retail precinct that redefines the role of amenity within apartment living.

DKO approached the design as a dialogue between past and present, drawing on Mosman’s established architectural language while introducing a contemporary expression. Textured brickwork and vertical rhythms articulate the facade, creating a sense of depth and continuity within the streetscape.

Internally, planning is guided by clarity and liveability. Residences are arranged to maximise light, outlook and connection to the surrounding harbour and village environment, while maintaining a sense of privacy and retreat. A central courtyard further anchors the development, allowing natural light to permeate deep into the building while providing a shared green space for residents.

Through this balance of restraint and resolution, DKO has delivered a contemporary interpretation of apartment living, where the architecture is defined not by excess, but by precision, materiality and a strong connection to place.
