Abode is a luxury bed linen and homewares brand. We are a family owned and run company, based in Camberwell, Victoria. Founded 30 years ago, we design and manufacture right behind our showroom in Melbourne. We specialise in quality sheeting, European down pillows, quilts, quilt covers, blankets, throws, cushions, towels, sleepwear and table linen.
Abode has become synonymous with quality; producing most of our own bed linen using the very best fabrics sourced from Milan, Italy and down and feather bedding products sourced from Europe.
These exclusive products are hand sewn and made in Melbourne with love and care.
We use thoughtfully selected, natural raw materials, primarily cottons, linens and pure goose down and feather fillings. Then we craft the finest quality linen, sheets, quilts and pillows in Australia – or perhaps even the world. Our textile workrooms are right behind our store in Camberwell, Melbourne. We develop and design everything here. Most often, we handcraft our bed linen and bedding in here too.
We’ve developed trusting, longstanding partnerships with European artisans who make bespoke fabrics and designs exclusively for our brand.
Everything we craft, we make to last. Later down the line, we replenish and mend on site in Camberwell. Demonstrable craftsmanship is woven into our Abode ethos. We sell direct to our customers and trade clients. There is no middle man, just a direct and honest relationship from the maker directly to the home. Manufacturing in Melbourne. Since 1991.
