Anna Carin Design is an interior architecture and design firm based in the exclusive Eastern suburbs of Sydney.
Studio founder and current principal designer, Anna-Carin McNamara, was educated in London and has worked in some of Scandinavia’s most prestigious design houses.
Anna draws on local and international influences, in particular her Swedish roots, for all of her design work and creative undertakings.
Originally founded in 1996 as INNE – a forerunner in introducing Scandinavian furniture to the Australian market, Anna Carin Design has since developed into a full fledged design business offering specialised service and expertise to clients seeking interiors that are simple, functional and sustainable.
Their expertise lies in adapting these Scandinavian Design principles to suit the Australian lifestyle and landscape.
Australians are known to be relaxed and laid back while Scandinavians are seen as being serious and dry, the challenge lies in combining the tradition and aesthetic of Scandinavia with the frivolity and light of Australia.
The studio strives to bring joy order and beauty to every project they are involved with.
Anna Carin Design is currently working on new rug range for Designer Rugs that will be launched in 2018 and Anna-Carin’s book on how to create a home to love will be published in April of 2019.
