SUTRAM is a Sydney based textile house founded by Rukaiya Daud and Kate Fowler with a focus on the bed. Their approach is grounded in the interplay between colours and the tensions that occur between them. Daud and Fowler believe your bedwear does not need to remain static – that your bed scene can be used interchangeably, operating as a medium that works both to animate space and reflect our evolving inner states. SUTRAM was made to honour the most human of needs – sleep.
