TUCKBOX

The TUCKBOX story began in 2013 and has since grown into a creative workshop based in Melbourne’s north, producing furniture products, custom pieces and experimental prototypes. Dan de Groot, his wife Prue, and brother Anthony believe the Tuckbox name represents a passion for simple, thoughtful design. Dan and Anthony adhere to the belief that good design should be challenging, uplifting and functional, and that their finished products reflect their uncompromising attention to detail and quality. With more than 20 years experience in the design industry both locally and in Europe, ingrained in Dan is the importance of experimentation in the design process, playing out in the materials, structures and processes used. Dan and Anthony design and produce all the pieces for TUCKBOX and believe that sustainability is a key factor when designing or sourcing materials.
