Launching its largest update for 2022, Laminex unveils 14 new additions to its Colour Collection. The latest decors build upon the design language of Living Pigments, Woodgrains and AbsoluteMatte, with each making a unique contribution to a range of aesthetic pursuits.

As the leading supplier and manufacturer of premium decorative surfaces in Australia, Laminex is engaged in a process of continual evolution – evidenced by its Colour Collection, which expresses both current and forecasted global design trends. As the collection expands to include 14 new products, the message proposed is one of natural appreciation with specific reference to the Australian environment.

Working seamlessly with the existing Colour Collection, the latest introductions ensure that the process of curating a colour palette is effortless.

Adding to the popular Living Pigments range are highly saturated colours Golden Wattle, Coastal Sunrise, Portsea and Otway. Golden Wattle presents a softened yet immersive variation of yellow, a brightening colour conveying optimism. In comparison, Coastal Sunrise features a golden translation of orange, echoing the tonal transition that takes place during a sunrise.

Shifting from sunny visual prompts to cooling evocations, Portsea captures a tranquil, mid-tone ocean blue, whilst the final shade, Otway, is positioned as the green partner to Living Pigments staple, French Navy. With a deeply blackened colour sitting precisely between blue and green, Otway is reminiscent of a lush green forest.

In line with the existing style, the new Laminex Woodgrain decors form a durable iteration of natural timber. Chestnut Woodland is a warm chestnut brown with a Beech structure comprised of long, linear grain detailing reminiscent of high-quality wood found in fine furniture. In contrast, Weathered Pine provides a hybrid design that shares similarities to both rotary plywood and papyrus and features delicate structural details of a distressed character complementary to an intimate interior design scheme.

The AbsoluteMatte range sees additional colours Aries, Spinifex, Paper Bark, Otway, Moroccan Clay and Kalamata take on the velvety finish for which the collection is renowned. Utilising world-leading technology, the AbsoluteMatte interpretation of the colours is fingerprint, moisture, heat, stain, scratch and impact resistant, allowing for an elevated presentation of soft neutral grey tones, intensities of blue and blackened variations of red.
