With over 20 years’ experience in the competitive field of public relations, Whispr oversees a portfolio featuring some of Australia’s most influential design studios and brands. Whispr’s Sydney office – designed by acclaimed design duo Ryan Russell and Byron George of Russell & George – is the physical embodiment of the team’s genuine passion for design and inherent care for their clients.

Located in the inner-city suburb of Surry Hills, Whispr HQ stands as testament to a business whose attention to detail has made it a powerful force within the design industry. “This space perfectly captures the Whispr story and celebrates the inspiration and beauty that we’re surrounded with in the industry,” says Selena O’Hare, Founder and Director. “We’re grateful to be a part of all of our clients’ exciting journeys, and we’re thrilled to navigate the wild world of PR alongside them in such a beautiful and welcoming space.”

The collaborative and considered nature of Whispr’s approach to public relations is also reflected in the design process for the office.

Intimate in size yet functional in nature, the refined aesthetic of the office elegantly encapsulates the humility at the core of the Whispr brand and team. The collaborative and considered nature of Whispr’s approach to public relations is also reflected in the design process for the office. “Our work involves an even balance of collaborating as a team and solo tasks, and the Whispr office offers lots of opportunities for conversation, reflection and relaxation,” Selena explains.

Transcending the realm of a traditional workplace, the Whispr office resonates a sense of calm, far removed from the – at times – hectic nature of the public relations industry, creating a space that inspires clear communication while fostering a culture of engagement and positivity. “Ryan and Byron instantly knew what I was trying to achieve in this space,” says Selena. “Being situated within a concrete jungle, it was important to us that the office was a place of warmth and inspiration; a place where we can achieve our best work.”

The space is at once productive and sociable – a dynamic that was at the heart of the brief. “Our office is a space where people gather and exchange ideas, and we love being able to welcome clients, journalists and friends into our space,” says Selena.

It’s all about making those day-to-day interactions as enjoyable as possible, and it’s always much easier to collaborate over good food and wine!”

Proud custodians of the brands and studios represented, Whispr’s devotion to these clients flows through all aspects of the business – a dedication that is tangibly expressed in the new office space the company now calls home.
