From renowned designer Tom Dixon comes the Melt Portable, a rechargeable and adaptable light that lasts up to 10 hours. Available in Australia through Living Edge, the Melt Portable range extends Tom Dixon’s iconic Melt series and redefines the way light is offered indoors and out.

“No longer do we want to be tethered to a fixed desk or power outlet, so increasingly we want our light to move with us,” says Tom Dixon. From the triangular base, the head of the lamp is designed in a hot-blow glass effect that broadens the Melt series. “The Melt Portable is emblematic of Tom Dixon’s visionary and innovative approach,” says Aidan Mawhinney, CEO at Living Edge, “which continues to delight the design community globally.”

Engineered to be compact in size, Melt Portable can be used both outdoors and inside due to technological advancements that give the lamp up to 10 hours of battery life. In four shades of gold, copper, chrome and black, the lamp also has three dimmable settings for any mood. Available at Living Edge, Melt Portable joins Tom Dixon’s lighting portfolio and encourages design enthusiasts to incorporate the lamp into their daily lives.
