Phoenix believes innovation and sustainability go hand-in-hand. In everything the company envisions, designs and manufactures there is a consideration for the future of the product and our planet. The Enviro316 collection supports this ambition and speaks to those who consider their environmental impact. Minimising landfill, the range is made of stainless steel, meaning it will stand the test of time, and Phoenix will recycle tapware at the end of its life.
Enviro316 mixers are Green Tag Green Rate Level A Certified under Scheme A21, signifying that they meet stringent criteria regarding resource efficiency and waste management. The Green Tag Platinum Health certification evaluates products based on their impact on human health and potential exposure to harmful substances, such as lead. Using marine grade 316stainless steel in the composition of Enviro316 mixers – including the breech – imparts durability and resistance to corrosion while also aligning with Watermark lead-free requirements, which will become standard in May 2026. Additionally, Enviro316 holds a WELS 6-star rating, signifying the highest level of water efficiency.
Enviro316 has been recognised with a 2022 Red Dot Design Award and a 2023 iF Design Award. Winning these prestigious awards underscores the exceptional design and serves as a symbol of excellence and recognition within the design community. Phoenix Design Lead Ban Liu says, “Enviro316 was designed from the perspective of the minimalist view of modernism. The design is clean and sophisticated, with soft surfaces defined by ultra-crisp lines.”
With Green Tag certification, a lead-free composition and an award-winning design, Enviro316 sets a new standard for responsible tapware design. From durability and water efficiency to health and ecological impact, this collection offers a conscious choice for a better future.
