The 45° Tavolino series by Ron Gilad is a collection of coffee and side tables inspired by the concept of a jewel box with open sides. These versatile tables feature a dark metal or warm wood structure, topped with smoked or clear glass, and coordinated glass or stone bases. Available in various sizes, they seamlessly adapt to any space’s mood, offering a minimalist yet sophisticated design that highlights the designer’s fascination with geometric shapes. Whether finished in monochrome American walnut or black oak, or a striking bi-color combination, the 45° Tavolino tables bring a touch of elegance and character to any interior.
For table specifications, size options, finishes and other details, please contact Molteni&C Melbourne or Sydney.
Ron Gilad was born in Tel Aviv in 1972. After a few years in New York, he lives and works in Tel Aviv and Milan. Ron Gilad’s hybrid objects combine a practical ingenuity with an aesthetic effect which and are placed on a boundary between the abstract and functional. When he was asked to collaborate with Molteni&C, Ron Gilad initially wondered if he should behave as a designer or just be himself in the most authentic way. He found his answer by creating a connection between his more abstract and artistic ideas and commercial industry mechanisms and converting them into ingenious design products.
