Australian design studio Kett is launching a trio of outdoor collections this summer, available exclusively through Cosh Living. Drawing inspiration from the rich and varied landscapes of Victoria’s coastline, the Addis Bay, Aireys Inlet and Shoreham ranges each evoke a distinct coastal mood, designed to bring comfort, elegance and understated charm to outdoor living spaces.

“In a world crowded by poorly made things, it is a pleasure and a privilege to spend each day working on products that are designed to last.”

Celebrating the Australian way of life, Kett channels the essence of the landscape into furniture that tells a clear story of place. Led by Melbourne-based designer Justin Hutchinson, the studio is known for its honest use of materials, strong craftsmanship and meaningful collaborations with local and international makers. Kett’s indoor ranges are crafted alongside Italian and Australian artisans, while the outdoor range is proudly produced in Indonesia, tapping into the region’s long-established expertise in teak.

“We design for longevity, not fleeting trends,” says Hutchinson. “In a world crowded by poorly made things, it is a pleasure and a privilege to spend each day working on products that are designed to last.”

Addis Bay is a minimalist, tactile modular seating system featuring large hexagonal sofa modules with powder-coated aluminium bases and sleek, linear teak detailing.

The Shoreham range takes its cues from the sculptural form of coastal pine trees, expressed through a bold timber framework. Made from solid teak and featuring generous proportions, Shoreham is designed for durability. With an armchair, two-seater sofa, nesting coffee tables and ottomans in a mix of woven and upholstered textures, the range blends the comfort of indoor living with the resilience needed outdoors.

Addis Bay is a minimalist, tactile modular seating system featuring large hexagonal sofa modules with powder-coated aluminium bases and sleek, linear teak detailing. Available in flexible configurations, the collection finds a place everywhere from expansive pool decks to intimate courtyards. Upholstered in soft, sun-kissed tones inspired by the weathered coastal landscape, Addis Bay expresses a relaxed elegance marked by clean lines, enduring materials and spatial versatility.

Aireys Inlet distils the spirit of slow coastal living, making it perfect for shaded garden nooks or breezy rooftop terraces.

Inspired by the tranquil Surf Coast, the Aireys Inlet range offers a two-seater sofa, lounge chairs and coffee tables crafted for intimacy and ease. Its organic silhouettes and palette of deep greens and moody greys – drawn directly from the coastline – create tonal harmony for any outdoor setting. Compact and comfortable, Aireys Inlet distils the spirit of slow coastal living, making it perfect for shaded garden nooks or breezy rooftop terraces.

These three collections dissolve the line between indoor and outdoor living, combining the tactile softness and elevated feel of interior upholstery with the robust durability required to withstand Australia’s harsh climate. Crafted for longevity, the fabrics feature UV defence, rapid-dry technology and mould resistance, ensuring lasting elegance and performance year after year.
