The role of surface continues to evolve in contemporary interiors, where materiality has become as important as form. Texture, tonal variation and the perception of depth can shape how a space feels, bringing warmth, restraint or drama to cabinetry, furniture and architectural elements. Within that realm, ForestOne introduces six new decors for 2026, extending its premier EGGER Decorative Collection to give designers and specifiers even broader choice.

The new decors, conceived as a cohesive family, move between mineral-inspired surfaces, bleached timber and graduated oak tones.

The new decors, conceived as a cohesive family, move between mineral-inspired surfaces, bleached timber and graduated oak tones, creating layered schemes where contrast is measured and combinations feel resolved. F129 PA Beige Ambiance Granite and F128 PA Black Ambiance Granite for example, translate the visual language of stone into realistic decorative surfaces. The former draws on warm cream and beige hues, offering a mineral expression that sits seamlessly alongside timber, while the latter introduces blue and anthracite notes, accentuating depth and lending itself to darker woods and more tonal compositions.

Their realism comes through the interplay of image, texture and finish. Both surfaces feature a repeat-free image across the width, with EGGER’s PerfectSense Premium Ambiance finish, combining a predominantly matt surface with subtle gloss variation and synchronised textural depth. The addition of anti-fingerprint properties makes them suited to furniture fronts and other high-use applications, where refinement needs to meet everyday performance.

Moving from mineral to timber, H7604 ST17 Natural Dimaro Walnut introduces a lighter interpretation of walnut. Its gently flowing grain and low-gloss, finely textured Omnipore Oiled surface evoke the character of oiled timber, bringing a bleached, contemporary Italian sensibility to the range. Its restrained tone allows it to sit comfortably with warm and cool taupes.

Three Casella Oak decors represent new additions to the pre-existing Casella Oak Feelwood range. The trio – H1367 ST40 Light Natural Casella Oak, H1385 ST40 Natural Casella Oak and H1388 ST40 Sand Casella Oak – extend the timber expression by offering graduated levels of lightness and warmth while maintaining a consistent oak language. Their Feelwood Oakgrain texture follows the wood pattern through a synchronised matt-in-matt pore, creating a tactile interpretation reminiscent of oiled veneer.

The six new decors invite closer consideration through samples, allowing their nuanced relationship between colour and finish to be experienced at the scale of the material itself.

Together, the six surfaces help to compose interiors through subtle shifts in tone, grain and texture. Beige Granite can temper richer timber, Black Granite can anchor a darker scheme, while Dimaro Walnut and Casella Oak introduce warmth and tactility without overwhelming a space. The result is a palette suited to residential interiors along with hospitality, workplace and commercial settings. As additions to ForestOne’s established EGGER Decorative Collection, the new decors expand the possibilities for specification while retaining a sense of cohesion. For architects and interior designers, the value lies in surfaces that can help shape atmosphere, reinforce material narratives and bring a refined, tactile quality to spaces designed for real life.
