Melbourne-based furniture company Jardan takes inspiration from the laid-back and authentic way of Australian life and uses high-quality materials expressive of contemporary ideas. The newly released Colourscapes collection is an exploration of colour, texture and form and is designed to be an accessible and comfortable range of furniture for both commercial and residential spaces.

Encompassing versatile seating and table solutions for hospitality venues, offices, home studies and more, the new collection inspires creativity through vivid hues and rich materials. Colourscapes introduces two chairs and three tables. The unofficial hero piece of the collection, the Raf chair, is fully customisable, with endless colour choices, optional arm support and several base configurations. Completing the collection are Roy, Wilbur, Bass and Arrow. Roy is a meeting chair intended for both casual and formal settings, and with its own range of customisable options, exudes understated comfort and functionality. Simple in its design, Wilbur is versatile and can be applied to many spaces. Bass and Arrow are both pedestal tables, the former being elegant in form with four-star solid aluminium legs, and the latter possessing a playful and soft character.

The featured fabrics and finishes of the Colourscapes collection are the highlight of the range. Jardan chose to work with Kvadrat Maharam to obtain high-quality and versatile commercial fabrics. Kvadrat Maharam is the Australian-based joint venture of Danish designer Kvadrat and USA-based Maharam. Together they are leaders in commercial fabrics and share a commitment to creating innovative design and sustainable, holistic textiles. Working alongside the fabric offerings and standard timber finishes, the range is also available in a selection of powder-coated colours. Jardan’s current selection of colours effortlessly complement this collection, alongside four new hues exclusive to the company – Moss, Mustard, Reef and Twilight.

Versatile and adaptable, Colourscapes marks Jardan’s expansion beyond its popular residential range while retaining its unmistakeable DNA.
