Nestled among some of the Gold Coast’s favourite restaurants, The Maven Bar in Nobbys’ Beach immediately entices visitors with a digitally fabricated parametric wall designed entirely of 2,300 wine bottles that shine like diamonds when the light hits them. The desired effect was created through the adaptation of a simple product (wine bottle), with a series of foundations CNC routed at different depths developing an undulating wave. The cozy yet modern and sleek space gives off a city feel that is a bit hard to come by on the Gold Coast.
