A Luxury Workspace
Luxury Melbourne workspace Eclat curates a calm, hospitality-led environment for modern professionals, where every detail is designed to support clarity, focus and a more intentional way of working.
Eclat isn’t just a place to work for those who value intentional environments, cultural relevance, design and quiet hospitality. It’s also positioned as a private members’ lounge, offering a place to gather, host and spend time marked by intention and purposeful interaction. Located in Hawthorn East, with plans to expand into the Melbourne CBD, it proposes a new model for modern work – one shaped not by productivity metrics or open-plan density but by atmosphere, alignment and engagement.
Designed for strategists, founders, consultants and creatives who recognise the impact environment has on how they think and perform, Eclat replaces the noise and sterility of traditional offices with spaces that feel more considered and like an extension of home. Rather than a single open workspace, it unfolds through three distinct environments – Bureau, Parlor and Galerie – each designed to support a different rhythm of work and interaction.
Bureau is the architectural backbone, providing a setting where the rhythm of work flows through refined desk spaces and focused zones designed for stillness and concentration. Parlor, by contrast, introduces a more social dimension as a series of boutique meeting rooms and hosting environments where presentations, conversations and collaboration take place in a setting that’s akin to a private lounge rather than a boardroom. Completing the sequence is Galerie, the cultural layer within the club, dedicated to talks, events and programming.
Interior design plays a key role in reinforcing the Eclat philosophy. Here, design is disciplined, with materials, proportions and lighting chosen for their enduring integrity. Custom joinery and desks by the group’s own furniture brand, Forme Design, anchor many of the spaces.
Throughout, a sublime curation of furnishings introduces warmth and tactility, from the Puffy Lounge Chair by Faye Toogood for Hem and bouclé sofas from Coco Republic to travertine plinths and coffee tables from Trit House and seating by RJ Living, all grounded by Armadillo rugs. Lighting adds further ambience, with sculptural works including Atollo lamps by Oluce, Vernon Panton Flowerpot lamps from &Tradition, Muuto Strand pendants and pieces by Melbourne maker South Drawn.
The result is an environment where design, work and hospitality operate as a considered, elevated ecosystem. By removing distractions, prioritising atmosphere and fostering a sense of community, Eclat creates spaces for members to operate with greater clarity, focus and intention, and to connect and engage with ease.
