Consistency and Flow – Adam Heath Claremont by Matthew Crawford Architects
An opportunity to double the floor space of the Adam Heath Claremont boutique with the acquisition of the neighbouring store also provided a chance for a refresh.
Matthew Crawford sought to create a sense of consistency and flow between the two spaces by matching the pressed tin ceilings and adding two new arched openings that enable ease of movement around the boutique. A neutral palette allows the patterns and colours in the clothing to shine, while a burnt pink feature wall to the rear of the space draws the eye in. This is accentuated by a Rosa Orchidia marble countertop, which adds a degree of luxury in keeping with the store’s wares.
