Anthony Pieters is a self-taught artist based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, who creates detailed and personalised artworks. With a remarkable technique shown through his collection Artem Patet – which uses enchanting patterns of water and sand to produce captivating pieces with rich texture – Anthony brings a fresh approach to works on canvas through the use of acrylic paint, calcite grit, gypsum and water.

Crafting custom-made textured artworks for individuals, interior designers, home builders and developers, he collaborates with patrons to create pieces that directly respond to a specific space and character. Anthony involves his clients in the initial process, allowing them to choose the preferred colour palette and size to ensure a personalised experience. Rather than being solely a form of self-expression, Anthony’s body of work is approached with the intention of serving others and meeting their individual artistic proclivities.

Anthony’s wish is that his bespoke artworks leave a lasting impression on the spaces they occupy.

His decision to begin incorporating texture into his work has led to Anthony’s pieces experiencing high demand from art collectors and interior designers around the world. His landscape-inspired artworks have been displayed in the lobby of a luxury hotel in Dubai, while another in Sydney features his work throughout 154 rooms.

Anthony’s wish is that his bespoke artworks leave a lasting impression on the spaces they occupy, and he is constantly evolving his work to make this a reality for a variety of audiences.
