Bayside Blue looks to create an experience of elevated and contemporary living with a coastal focus. Nestled into the bayside locale of Beaumaris, the overall approach conveys an understanding of balance, reflecting the meeting of Port Phillip Bay and the surrounding terrain and parklands. With the home encouraging both interior and exterior occupations, the outdoor areas become an extension of the interior condition, connecting to the surrounds to instil an atmosphere of retreat. From the initial interaction with the home, the form sits respectfully amongst the surrounding neighbourhood, broken up into a series of coalescing forms.
