Brickworks Launches Two Textural New Collections
The latest releases from Australia’s largest brick manufacturer – a brick collection and a paving range – offer a textural twist on classic colours, bolstered by Brickworks’ renowned durability.
The vernacular of Australian architecture has informed two new ranges from Austral Bricks, an arm of Australia’s largest brick manufacturer, Brickworks. The Vogue collection, a new series of bricks, and the Oakdale Pavers collection both bring statement-making texture and colour to Austral Bricks’ already wide product selection. Durability and stylish finishes are the hallmarks of the new collections, which offer contemporary updates on traditional materials and designs.
The Vogue brick collection adds a dose of gloss to the classic clay hues found across generations of Australian buildings. Designed for both internal and external use, the shine added to the traditional brick colour palette emphasises the tactility and texture of each slab.
The six new colourways reflect different elements of the Australian landscape – think coast, plains and soil. Crema is a light brown that reflects the country’s sandy beaches, while the moody Vienna echoes Australia’s dark-brown fertile soils. Cafe Del Mar is a chocolatey brown, while Tuscany is a spin on the classic red brick used to construct our homes for decades.

While the Vogue collection is all about an update on what has come before, the Oakdale pavers range looks to the future. A response to trending colourways, the Oakdale collection is underpinned by flexibility of application, as well as longevity. Terrazzo-like in their finish, the eight styles of pavers offer textural depth to outdoor spaces.
The Cumberland brings an organic earthiness, in both texture and colour, that will blend seamlessly into contemporary outdoor spaces, while the slate-like cast of the Latitude paver is suited to modern homes and monochrome colour palettes. Each of the eight colourways is available in one of two finishes: shot-blasted for a slightly grainy character and standard for a smoother feel and appearance.
