Brintons and Coco Republic Interior Design have joined forces to transform the iconic Manly Pacific Hotel. As part of the hotel’s land-mark refurbishment, the two companies have collaborated to create custom-made carpets and rugs used throughout the space.

In desperate need of a facelift, the iconic 40-year-old hotel has been completely trans-formed through the partnership between Manly Pacific Hotel and Coco Republic Interior Design. After years of neglect, the design details and furnishings for the restoration were selected to embody a refined environment reflecting the beauty of the coast. According to Georgina Holmes, Lead Designer of Coco Republic Interior Design, meeting the brief of coastal luxury and effortless sophistication was a true reflection of the hotel’s location, and her team was able to create a relaxed ambience that encapsulates the quintessential way of life in Australia.

Together with Georgina for the Manly Pacific Hotel project, it custom designed and produced woven 100 per cent wool Wilton rugs for the guest rooms and custom-woven wool and nylon Axminster carpets for the hotel corridors and function spaces. Brintons has been at the forefront of the global woven carpet manufacturing industry for more than 230 years and relied on this experience to bring the Manly Pacific Hotel to life. Working with British Wool, Brintons is the largest purchaser globally of high-quality, sustainable British wool.
