Collector’s Loft effortlessly blurs the boundary between gallery and home with an industrial-style interior. BoND focuses on crafting a sleek and understated canvas for showcasing the client’s curated pieces while ensuring tangible connections both within the space and to the surrounding cityscape.

With the art taking centrestage within the residence, each selection and arrangement needed to harmonise rather than clash. Much like the building itself – an iconic New York industrial loft – weaving pieces with individual narratives into such a highly detailed space required a delicate balancing act. BoND presents Collector’s Loft as a unique abode with a distinct presence. “In envisioning the home, we aimed to create an environment where artistry and livability coexist harmoniously,” says Noam Dvir, founder and principal of BoND. “It is not just a space for displaying art – it’s a dynamic living environment where creativity thrives and every element within the space tells a story. It’s a place where art is not merely observed but experienced, enriching the lives of those who inhabit it.”

“In envisioning the home, we aimed to create an environment where artistry and livability coexist harmoniously,” says Noam Dvir, founder and principal of BoND.

Having spent over two decades acquiring this collection, it was important to the client to find a space that could serve as both a showcase and a comfortable retreat in the midst of a vibrant city. With pieces from various artists, the space – while generous with lofty ceilings and abundant natural light – needed to integrate well into the overall visual journey of the collection. Each component within has been curated, and the inclusion of the Vipp kitchen was a natural fit, seamlessly blending in with the rest of the curated pieces.

“Our approach to materiality was guided by the desire to create a gallery-like ambiance that allows the art to shine,” says Noam. The combination of predominantly white walls with the inviting warmth of the oak flooring establishes a comforting ambiance. Every surface of the abode presents a canvas for personal expression, showcasing mementos of adventures, cherished gifts and objects brimming with stories and memories. “We aimed to preserve the loft’s industrial charm while providing a backdrop that enhances the vibrancy of the artwork.” Along with newly acquired pieces, custom-designed furniture was created to realise the overall vision for the home.
