Profile Spotlight – Emerging Architects and Designers
Tali Roth Interior Design
Founding her eponymous interior design studio in 2013, Tali Roth has brought her distinctively unfussy yet exuberant style to residential and commercial interiors across the globe. Raised in suburban Melbourne, Tali was surrounded by the architecture of the 1960s and70s, crediting this influence to helping guide her career path. Tali imbues each space she designs with her well-known and highly appreciated eclectic style. Designing texturally layered and useful spaces, she fills each room with bold forms and patinas that encourage one to lean in and touch. Believing that furniture, lighting and art are equally as important as the interior architecture of the space, Tali Roth Interior Design unites these three elements in a fruitful style, combining poetry and prose into a richly aesthetic narrative.
LINTEL Studio for Architecture
LINTEL Studio for Architecture is a Sydney-based architecture firm founded in 2021 by Emiliano Miranda. LINTEL’s goal is to drive a generous practice that contributes positively to Australia’s built environment and industry constituents in equal measure. LINTEL has already established a reputation for producing forward-thinking projects in the residential and commercial sectors. Much like the humble lintel itself, often going unnoticed yet integral to supporting architectural openings and leading to new possibilities, the studio seeks to be both a conduit for potential and a supportive force. With each design, LINTEL exercises its core values, prioritising constant communication with clients and collaborators to ensure that clients love their new spaces, that all who worked on the project can be proud of their efforts and that the studio delivers projects with strong architectural merit. Taking pride in not only the quality of their work but also fostering a healthy, balanced work environment and contributing to the development of Australia’s architecture community, the team actively celebrates diversity within its operations and is supporting two students in foundational roles.

Since starting Studio 11:11 in Melbourne in 2017, Founders Marijne Vogel and Annabel Smart have expanded the team to include studios in Auckland, Wellington and Amsterdam. The multi-disciplinary design practice explores the boundaries between interior design, architecture and object design through a body of work operating off one collective narrative. Rejecting design trends, Studio 11:11 forges ahead in creating purposeful spaces and objects that achieve a timeless allure. With a consistent theme of natural and tactile materials that celebrate local artisanal traditions, the studio showcases natural patinas to further enrich each project it embarks on. Approaching design with a deep consideration for the multifaceted relationship between the human experience and the built environment, Studio11:11 works with a focus on creating spaces that evoke a sense of connection and presence.
