Hegi Design House and European architect Pietro Franceschini have collaborated on a new collection, bringing forth a bold and sensual furniture range set to elevate the atmosphere of any space. The Urania, Sphere and Bling Bling sculptural forms evoke an essence of playful grandiose through a deep artistic statement.
For those drawn to the finer artistic expression of furniture, Hegi Design House’s design launch invites guests to experience innovative sculptural pieces by way of three new collections. Working alongside Pietro Franceschini, Hegi Design House introduces The Urania, Sphere and Bling Bling, offering an instantly iconic aesthetic. “The Urania collection is inspired by the classic DS-600, reimagined with a current touch. Urania is fresh, playful and instantly iconic,” explains Nelli Hegi, Co-Founder of Hegi Design House. “The Bling Bling collection, designed by Pietro and made by us, was inspired by Olympus, the majestic home of the twelve gods of Greek Mythology. And then there’s Sphere. The Sphere collection was designed by us and inspired by spherical architecture. It’s curious, playful and creative.” With made-to-order pieces, the three distinct collections are designed to find an intimate connection with their owners and enhance the experience of the spaces they occupy.
During a time of unrest and frequent lockdowns, Hegi Design House engaged with Pietro Franceschini, spending considerable time fostering the collections. “These designs are so much more than just furniture,” Nelli muses. “They’re iconic, statement pieces created to be felt, experienced and remembered for years to come. Pieces that’ll be passed down to future generations and forever connected to your story.” Making an artistic statement, each collection cements Hegi Design House’s philosophy in creating elegant, minimal and enduring designs crafted from ethically sourced materials.
Coinciding with the release of The Urania is Pietro Franceschini’s renowned Bling Bling collection, which Hegi Design House will be launching to Australian markets. Bling Bling offers a transcending style envisioned and delivered as if from Olympus itself. Handcrafted, the collection oozes both comfort and sophistication.
