Augmenting Hettich’s notable presence in Australia, the company unveils its new South Melbourne showroom as an experiential destination for innovative furniture technology. Specialists in developing intelligent furniture fittings for over 135 years, the global family-owned business elevates the functionality and feeling of interiors with its considered product offerings.

From its 220 Coventry Street location, the showroom welcomes a gathering of guests who share a common appreciation for pioneering hardware design. Attracting industry professionals such as architects and designers as well as individual renovators and home buyers bringing their own residences to life, the space invites a convergence of creative minds to journey through its discerning assembly of German-manufactured cabinetry fittings.

In an era of predominantly online trade, the showcase offers prospective customers a moment to meet the products in a tangible setting, to connect with their potent presence and savour the luxurious components and motion that sets Hettich’s high-calibre hardware fittings apart.

“Melbourne is renowned for [its] thriving architecture and design community,” tells Managing Director of Hettich Australia Martin Gane. “Hettich was inspired to create an inviting showroom experience that would meet the needs of our customers and provide the ultimate platform to showcase what is possible with our products, with the new location making it easier for industry and design professionals to access quality cabinetry hardware solutions for their next residential and commercial project.”

Facilitating inspiration with its ardent exhibition of curated cabinetry fittings, the Hettich showroom unfurls elegantly, beckoning visitors to interact with a series of cohesive home environments. Inserted judiciously throughout the display, Hettich hardware unites kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe, laundry, office and al fresco spaces designed by Zephyr + Stone. Exemplary in their thoughtful fabrication, each piece is embedded with luxurious details to heighten the experience. WingLine L’s expansive bi-folding kitchen cabinet doors are hushed and cushioned by Hettich’s award-winning Sensys hinge soft-closing system and open to reveal AvanTech YOU internal drawers. Not only serving as functional storage, the drawers become an illuminated stage with LED lighting and glass panes for crockery and china to proudly peek through. Going beyond the pantry, the AvanTech YOU drawers also complement TopLine XL sliding doors to become wardrobe storage, highlighting the versatility of Hettich product applications throughout the home. Unanimous in their synergy, the Cadro frame system and SlideLine M sliding doors meet with customisable ease to form wall cabinets for office to kitchen spaces.

Grounded by a story of enriched expression and committed design, the Hettich showroom presents assured answers to the needs of the entire home.
