DEEBOT T80 OMNI Robotic Vacuum
ECOVACS ROBOTICS is bringing a new level of cleanliness to floors with the DEEBOT T80 OMNI Robotic Vacuum.
A powerful new robotic floor cleaner from pioneering brand ECOVACS has launched exclusively at Harvey Norman. The DEEBOT T80 OMNI is a robotic vacuum and mop that combines a series of innovative technologies to provide a new level of cleanliness, led by ECOVACS’ proprietary OZMO Roller Mopping Technology that puts 16 times more pressure on floors while cleaning than traditional robotic vacuums.
“It brings together precision and power and is a true showcase of our expertise in intelligent cleaning technology,” says Karen Powell, regional director of ECOVACS ANZ. “We’ve created a DEEBOT that not only handles the toughest stains but also keeps itself clean and tangle-free.” Importantly for those who value good design, aesthetics were as important as function when creating the DEEBOT T80 OMNI: both the vacuum and its docking station feature curved designs in monochrome palettes to suit a range of home styles.
One of the DEEBOT T80 OMNI’s key technologies is the trailblazing OZMO Roller Instant Self-washing Mopping Technology, which has 3,700-pascal (Pa) suction power and 200rpm roller speed. While other similar products use vibrating or dual-plate technologies, the T80 focuses its power on a specific contact area with more than 16 times the usual intensity – compared to other robotic mopping systems – to efficiently erase spills and stains.
The robot’s TruEdge 2.0 technology helps it clean edges and corners, and a 3D Edge Sensor helps it steer clear of obstructions and pick up any missed spots.
As it cleans the floor, the T80 also cleans itself: every time it rotates, a scraper built into the OZMO Roller extracts dirt and wastewater as water nozzles constantly rinse the mop to reduce residue and dry floors faster. The robot’s TruEdge 2.0 technology helps it clean edges and corners, and a 3D Edge Sensor helps it steer clear of obstructions and pick up any missed spots. While robotic cleaners notoriously collide into obstacles, the T80 OMNI can identify them and adjust its path ahead of time to avoid contact. The DEEBOT also easily navigates narrow spaces, and its slimline design helps it move below furniture with ease.
The T80 OMNI’s cleaning capabilities are bolstered by its strong mopping pressure, plus instant self-washing capabilities. It can adjust its water temperature to suit the room type, while its hot air-drying system can fully dry the mop in two hours to prevent odours and bacteria from developing. Its mop tray is maintenance-free for up to 150 days (depending on usage), enabling an almost entirely hands-off cleaning experience.
Many cleaning tools – both traditional and robotic – can jam up or get obstructed by human and pet hair. The T80 OMNI has built-in anti-tangle technology: the Anti-Tangle Main Brush also works to prevent hair-related issues, while boosting the model’s ability to pick up debris. The DEEBOT is designed to work throughout the entire home, from carpets to hard floors – and has a carpet-first mode, which ensures it vacuums carpets before tackling hard surfaces so it won’t wet the carpet. It can also detect carpet, raising the mop 10 millimetres above the ground to prevent contact, while also providing a deep carpet clean service that delivers a professional-grade finish.
