These five collections represent JANUS et Cie’s range, both in style and material options. They are crafted from materials such as premium teak, mesh, the proprietary JANUSfiber, powder-coated aluminium and woven ropes. The ranges also span options for lounging – including modular pieces – and dining.
JANUS et Cie enlisted award-winning designer and architect Philippe Starck to create an outdoor dining and lounge collection for their first partnership together: Serengeti. Inspired by nature and the Tanzanian savanna after which it is named, Serengeti is a marriage of timeless elegance and refined natural elements in stunning natural teak.
Another noteworthy collaboration is Rock Garden, a dynamic contemporary collection by Hong Kong-based architect and designer André Fu, featuring Driftwood-painted teak and handwoven JANUSfiber. Characterised by softly flowing curves and thoughtful, angular lines, the ensemble of dining and lounge pieces communicates serenity and balance.
Patricia Urquiola’s latest addition to the lounge and dining Anatra collection includes handwoven modular seating. Sophisticated and intricately designed, the lounge elements are constructed using soft and inviting textured braiding to create a harmonious weave.
Gina is the first collection from Piero Lissoni for JANUS et Cie. The extensive collection brings an unabashed romanticism to contemporary living, mixing tactile materials and plush seating with practical durability and modern silhouettes.
The Savannah collection by Orlando Diaz-Azcuy, part of JANUS et Cie’s The Masters Aluminum Series, is inspired by Savannah, Georgia. Sophisticated and inviting, Savannah features a signature oval back frame with metal mesh detail and clean architectural lines, and pairs seamlessly with the other seven powder-coated aluminium collections in The Masters Aluminum Series.
