Stylist Kerrie-Ann Jones celebrates the launch of her debut book, Curated Style, with a pop-up gallery in Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

Sydney-based interiors stylist Kerrie-Ann Jones has a diverse portfolio, having worked across residential and commercial projects, as well as with lifestyle brands and magazines. Now, she brings all of her experience – and her very well-trained eye – together in a coffee-table book, Curated Style.

“The idea is to invite design enthusiasts to explore a curated collection of furniture and contemporary art, and experience my styling philosophy first-hand.”

To mark the launch of the book, Jones is running an immersive pop-up gallery in Bondi Beach until 15 April. “The idea is to invite design enthusiasts to explore a curated collection of furniture, decorative objects and contemporary art, and experience my styling philosophy first-hand,” says Jones. “Together, the pieces represent exaggerated shapes, bright colour accents, unexpected material combinations and timeless craftsmanship.”

The curation reflects Jones’s own design loves, in particular mid-century and 1970s furniture, with highlights including a Lane Staccato sideboard, dining chairs by Thygesen & Sørenson, Africa dining chairs by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, a pair of 1963 Steltman chairs by Gerrit Rietveld and Okay bouclé armchairs by Adriano Piazzesi.

These pieces sit along decorative objects like vintage Murano glass table lamps and 1970s ceramics as well as an extensive collection of art from both local and international creatives. They include Australians Amanda Shadforth, Clementine Maconachie and Ashley Corbett-Smith, and international names such as French plaster artist Thibault Perrigne and Welsh multidisciplinary creative David Hardy.

Jones is also hosting an interior styling masterclass on Sunday, 6 April, aimed at design enthusiasts who would like to elevate their interiors. “I will share my professional styling techniques using Curated Style as a guide to creating beautiful, personality-filled spaces,” says Jones.

The Kerrie-Ann Jones Gallery continues at 17 O’Brien Street, Bondi Beach until 15 April. Two masterclasses will be held on Sunday, 6 April, at 9am and 1.30pm. Bookings, here.
