Words by James Lyall Smith

From this moment forward, eating will be different. Introducing KROF Cutlery, the Australian cutlery brand that brings a high-end serving experience directly to the home. Making every meal remarkable through perfectly designed instruments, KROF believes that when you set the table, you’ll set the expectation.

Fusing the creative minds of product designer Nick Johnston (formerly of Rogerseller) and restaurateur Kristian Klein (from the much loved Melbourne institution Mr. Miyagi), KROF is committed to changing the way we approach our meals by providing 24 carefully curated tools designed to make every dining experience memorable.

An award-winning product designer and an esteemed restaurateur have bridged their complementary skills to challenge the norm for arguably the most important tool kit.
KROF is transforming the art of eating through 24 artful tools.

Made with the highest grade materials, German forming machinery and finished with hand-polishing mastery, each piece is designed to be distinctive, durable, contemporary and functional. Each KROF set consists of 24 expertly designed pieces which make up six place settings, including six forks, knives, dessert spoons and teaspoons. With Collection One available in brushed gold, matte black, brushed silver and polished silver, the exclusive design of KROF transports us back to a bygone era of culinary excellence, a world in which every dining occasion was worth celebrating.

Designed to be distinctive, durable, contemporary and functional — KROF is for any table worth setting, any guest worth inviting and any meal worth eating.

Following years of research, it was imperative to Nick and Kristian that every piece of KROF cutlery would discover the answers to the key culinary questions. From the way we pirouette spaghetti, spoon through soufflé or complete the simple act of buttering bread, each action will be undertaken by perfectly weighted tools, made from high-quality stainless steel, and finished with hardwearing titanium coatings to ensure continued beauty, meal after meal. Through KROF cutlery, beautifully crafted instruments will now sit alongside beautifully crafted food.

KROF has partnered with Foodbank during this challenging time, by contributing 10 meals to vulnerable Australians that need it most for every cutlery set sold.

There has never been a better time to invest in locally designed cutlery as every KROF set sold will now generate 10 meals for Australians who need it most.
