Café Leon Dore, the Greek cafe concept developed by fashion and lifestyle label Aimé Leon Dore, has quietly cultivated a devoted following since opening in 2019. Located in the brand’s flagship stores in New York and London, the cafes offer food and beverages inspired by traditional Greek flavours. For fans visiting Aimé Leon Dore, the cafe’s iced Freddo espressos, and handmade kourabiedes, melomakarona and koulourakia pastries function as a physical extension of the brand and a cultural meeting point.
Now, La Marzocco, revered for its century-long dedication to espresso machine engineering, has partnered with Café Leon Dore to create a limited-edition Linea Micra coffee machine. It’s a partnership built on a shared commitment to craft and culture, with La Marzocco bringing its storied lineage – rooted in hand-built craftsmanship and precision design – to the table.
The Linea Micra was conceived and meticulously handcrafted at Officine Fratelli Bambi, La Marzocco’s almost-century-old artisan workshop overlooking the hills of Florence. Finished in Aimé Leon Dore’s signature palette and adorned with refined, bespoke detailing, the Linea Micra manifests in a deep green with polished brass accents, walnut wood detailing and bespoke branding. Each machine is an emblem of cross-continental collaboration and the quiet, luxurious beauty of artisanal wares.
