Monochromatic Patterns by Luis Fernandez and Modern Rugs LA

Modern Rugs LA and Los Angeles-based designer Luis Fernandez have collaborated on a collection of rugs. Dubbed Monochromatic Patterns, the collection is a melange of Fernandez’s signature sophistication and Modern Rugs LA’s expertise, gleaned from over 20 years of design and manufacturing experience.

The capsule collection is grounded in restraint and minimalism. Tone-on-tone designs realised in olive green, blush, cream, navy blue and grey allow the intricate detailing to come to the fore, and the use of hand-carving techniques, exceptional materials like woven silks and premium wools, and supreme artisanship elevate the collection. Every rug is fully customisable, giving clients the flexibility to make these new designs their own.

Bold geometric tropes are visually interesting yet quiet, and a measured approach to tonality reflects Fernandez’s design rationale and affinity for monochromes.
